We are a group of versatile media, design, and marketing types who love collaboration. Founded in 2003, our team has evolved from a small video production company into a midwest-centric, full-service digital marketing team. We believe in Kalamazoo and are dedicated to supporting local companies and non-profits as they serve the community.
Dan Martin
Founder
Sales, Client Relationships
Dan started Kzoom out of his basement in 2003 providing video production. He now focuses primarily on team culture, sales, and business strategy.
He loves traveling with his 6 kids and wife, Sara. They run a hobby farm and are always adding new animals to the lineup.
Kiah McMeekan
Director of Marketing
Client Management, Social Media, Paid Media
Kiah is a passionate marketer. She is a social media wizard who loves staying on top of current trends and creating intriguing content.

In her free time she loves digital painting, reading fantasy novels and spending time in the woods with her dog, Luna.
Matt Davis

Matt loves all-day cooking projects, holding one-sided conversations with his cat, and writing unreasonably large D&D campaigns. A fan of horror movies, he may have Kalamazoo’s largest (and only) collection of Laserdiscs.
Nora Duncan
Designer
Graphic Design, Branding
Nora is passionate about design, photography and storytelling. With clients she specializes in brand and logo design. She loves traveling with her family, exploring new cities, hiking and kayaking Lake Michigan. She also works and travels with Compassionate Hope Ministries located in Southeast Asia.
Jordan Avery
Filmmaker
Video, Motion Graphics, Photography
Jordan primarily produces videos and handles all motion graphics projects.
Outside of Kzoom, Jordan has achieved “Master” Listening Level through Audible, successfully taught the board game, 7 Wonders, to seven individuals simultaneously, and continually hopes the Detroit Lions can win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.
Miranda Schroeder
Marketing Manager
Client Management
Miranda oversees full service accounts by managing the collaboration across departments, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, and being the trusted point of contact.
She loves the intersection of where marketing, psychology, and community meet. Beyond Kzoom, She’s a national park fan-girl, plant-mom, and enjoys learning all about her latest hyperfixation.
Fun Fact: She’s weirdly good at accents.
Jonny Finch
Filmmaker
Video, Drone, Editing
Jonny is one of our licensed drone pilots and is also a lead shooter & editor.
He is an avid reader, writer, and office basketball guru. We truly can’t understand his freakish ability to make 98% of his shots. Jonny also loves to travel with his wife and 3 kids.
Laura Flynn

Video, Photography, Editing
Laura is a multi-talented, spontaneity guru! She enjoys spending time with her husband watching reality TV shows, and then jumping up from the couch to exercise with her friends. She is also working to get her personal training certificate just for the heck of it! At Kzoom Laura assists on shoots and edits video projects.
She is a graduate of WMU’s journalism program.

Allison Bos

Allison brings both Graphic Design and Marketing skills to the table, making her uniquely suited to her position at Kzoom. She is a visual problem solver, and enjoys telling stories through her work.
Outside of Kzoom, Allison loves fitness and going to the gym, spending time on Lake Michigan, and cheering on the Detroit Lions. She’s absolutely obsessed with space and literally owns NASA’s brand guidebook, which she’s read front to back multiple times.
Nate Conkel

Nate is a dually talented force in videography and photography. He competes in the sport of track and field where his main discipline is the 800m. He competed at Taylor University.
In his free time he loves to create stylistic photos mainly for social media within both commercial and portrait photography.
Jared Kelley
SEO Specialist

Jared is Kzoom’s second SEO Specialist, adding nearly a decade of experience to our team. He’s helped countless local businesses improve their digital presences and get found online.
In his spare time, Jared is a huge fan of Red Wings hockey, electronic music production, video games, and movies. Him and his wife share their home with four awesome cats, which we think is just great.
Mikayla Slavin
Lead UX Designer
Web Design/Development
Mikayla is a UX designer, bringing a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in UX Design from MSU to every project she touches. She has a passion for crafting experiences that make the web a little friendlier.
Outside of work, she loves hiking, paddle boarding, and playing beach volleyball. She’s a regular at Lake Michigan, a fan of exploring national parks, and can be found reading a new book, thrifting or volunteering at the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue.
Jimmy Wright
Business Development
Sales/Networking
Jimmy prides himself on attending each and every Networking event in the 269 area code that will allow him entry. His position, though listed as Business Development, takes on more of a ‘Community Connector’ role, which suits his chatty and obnoxiously-loud social nature.
Jimmy uses the fact that he’s from Australia as an excuse for being a coffee snob. He enjoys travelling to new places with his wife and toddler, watching movies made before 2005, live music/comedy, cigars and thrift shopping.
