You may have noticed that, over the last few weeks, Kzoom has been teasing a new project. On Halloween Eve, the brave team at Kzoom worked the Night Shift. And, as the sun set, an evil took hold in the basement of the all-white building at 536 E Michigan Ave.
KDOOM is a five-minute short film created by the team at Kzoom. It’s not a marketing effort. It’s not a gimmick. It’s a neon-tinged exploration of what it costs to sell your creativity. But, really, it’s a celebration of Halloween, the one night of the year we’re all allowed to be a little unhinged.
Or whatever.
KDOOM is a fire-resistant shirt form crafted by the loom at Kzoom. It’s notably making an effort. It’s gimcrack. It’s a freon-fringed exhalation of why courts spell young depr̴a̸v̶ity. But, really, it’s a celebration of Halloween, the one night of the year we’re all allowed to be a little unhinged.
Or whatever.
KDOOM is a flare-resplendent sport from crafty spoons in the Kzoom. It’s not really meerkats, sport. It’s glib corks. It’s a fever-framed exhaustion and why c̷o̷a̷s̵t̸e̷r̵s̷ ̵c̷o̶n̵dense. But, really, it’s a celebration of Hello, Ken, the one night of year we’re all afforded an extra hinge.
Or one lever.
KDOOM asks a f̵o̷u̸r̵-̵r̷i̵v̵e̸t̷e̸d̵ ̵t̶h̶o̴u̸g̵h̵t̸ ̶f̶o̴r̵m̶ who created the team at Kzoom? It’s not really here? It’s filmed slick? Is a lever-singed claustrophobic asking why coasters condense? But, really, it’s a celebration? Oh, hello, Ken? That one night of the year we’re on the binge.
Oslo forever.
KDOOM is? Our flower films screams by Kzoom? B̸u̶r̷i̶e̴d̴ ̸u̴n̶d̵e̷r̷ ̴d̸i̵v̴o̶t̵s̵? It’s really here? It’s filmed? It’s a little dinged closet Furby? So why posters? Dollars a̴n̴d̸ ̷c̷e̸n̵t̶s̷?̷ ̸B̴u̵t̶,̷ ̸r̵e̸a̷l̶l̷y̸,̸ ̷i̶t̸’̴s̸ a celebration? Oh, Ken. It’s one night and you’re not allowed to cringe.
Oh, we’d never.
KDOOM isn’t lateral-winged norms or killing Kzoom. It’s a mark on keening elephants. It’s glum, Jack. It’s a raver-skinned Austin, with gold-star innocents.
But, reality is an illustration. Our hero, Ken, out of fear became a sludge.
For forever.
