Revisiting Bikers' Rights Redux 2: Part Deux, the Sequel

While some questioned our non-digital bicycle advertising, we’re here today to prove we’re serious. We’re serious about Kalamazoo, we’re serious about promoting our sponsors, and we’re serious about Josh on his bike.

This ‘total solar eclipse’ occurred recently when three objects in orbit aligned with one other: biker’s rights downtown Kalamazoo, our advertising box, and your need to stand out in a muddled sea of digital advertising. This eclipse occurred on April 1, 2024, with high interest peaking between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

We’re here today to tell the (success) story of the first week of our new Kzooooom service. Just two days after the eclipse, WKZO’s Ken Lanphear picked up this hot news item and featured us live on the WKZO Morning Show, joined by our lead cyclist Josh Stanton, and Director of Marketing of Non-Digital Marketing, Kiah McMeekan.

You can also listen to the WKZO broadcast “Downtown Kalamazoo Bike Lanes have opened up for a special use” by visiting the WKZO website and scrolling to the title, which aired on April 3.

But this isn’t a story about us. The heros of this new effort are our advertisers, the early adopters, trend-setters, and non-digital champions unto themselves. It is here that we thank them while simultaneously promoting them:

A special thank you to our sponsors...

  • Kalamazoo Commercial Real Estate: Our first advertiser taking the front of bike position.
  • Newmind Group: Taking the left side of the box (commuter-facing, target audience-focused on traffic).
  • WKZO: Right side of non-digital box aimed at the walkers of downtown Kalamazoo.
  • Cherry Tree Financial: Taking the last available spot (and hard to book) Josh’s rear, best for… the public waiting at stoplights and trains.

To get in line with this opportunity, which you were too slow to take advantage of for whatever reason, shoot us a note. We’ll help you get in on something that’s actually trending.

To take advantage of the expertise of a digital marketing agency and get started on the road to success, contact us here and we’ll be in touch right away!

Show this blog some love!
